In the previous article we have introduced compound fertilizer production line, in this article we will introduce organic fertilizer production line and the difference between organic fertilizer production line and compound fertilizer production line.
The production line of organic fertilizer includes a series of stages to convert organic materials into nutrient-rich fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are obtained from natural sources such as animal manure, crop residues, food waste, and other organic materials. The production line typically includes the following steps:
The first step of making organic fertilizer is sourcing of animal manure, corp residues, food waste or other organic waste materials. The raw materials needs to be treated before making into fertilizer.
Composting is a crucial step in making organic fertilizer production. It is basically the decomposition of organic materials through microbial activity. The raw materials are piled or placed in composting field, and the process is facilitated by providing the right conditions of moisture, temperature, and aeration. The composting process helps break down organic matter, eliminate pathogens and weed seeds, and convert the raw materials into stable, nutrient-rich compost which is suitable for making organic fertilizer.
The process flow if making organic fertilizer is similar to the making of compound fertilizer, the difference is the organic matter needs to be treated in the previous step In order to be qualified for making fertilizer. After composting, the organic matter can used to be mixed in the in-organic raw material and proceed to the next procedure.
Organic matter after composting is mixed with the in-organic matter and agglomerate Granulation improves the handling, storage, and application characteristics of the fertilizer. If the organic fertilize has a high moisture level after granulation, it needs to be dried using rotary dryer. One thing to be noted, due to the existence of organic matter, the temperature inside the dryer cannot exceed say 250 degrees, otherwise the organic structure will be destroyed. After the drying process, the organic-inorganic fertilizer needs to be cooled to ambient temperature rapidly using drum rotary cooler.
The cooled organic fertilizer granules are then being screened to remove oversized or undersized particles and achieve the desired particle size distribution. Fertilizer vibrating screens or fertilizer sieving equipment are used to separate the particles into different fractions. Unqualified particles are returned to the main feeding belt conveyor for circulation. This ensures uniformity and consistency in the final product.
The final step in the organic fertilizer production line is packaging. Similar to the compound fertilizer production line and npk fertilizer production line, the finished product are packed using automatic packaging scale and automatic folding and sewing system to reduce labor. The final product is brown or dark crystals because of the organic matter.
Organic fertilizer is a kind of slow-release fertilizer. Compared with inorganic fertilizer, the effect of organic fertilizer is more lasting. Generally, it can effectively increase the yield of crops when used in combination with inorganic fertilizer.
Above is the production process flow of organic fertilizer, in conclusion the process flow is similar to that of the compound fertilizer, the difference is the composting of organic material. The fertilizer granulator, fertilizer dryer, fertilizer cooler, fertilizer cooler is similar, however the specific processes and equipment used in organic fertilizer production may vary depending on the scale of production, available resources, and the desired characteristics of the final product. Additionally, adherence to quality control measures and compliance with local environmental regulations are essential throughout the entire production process.
